Creative Industries

The UK advertising industry is a formidable force and one of the top-performing sectors in the world. According to Government data released in 2020, the UK advertising and marketing industries generate £18.6 billion in revenue every year.

With such a booming advertising industry, the UK is naturally home to some of the world’s most renowned media agencies. Household names such as MediaCom and PHD reside in the UK and cherry-pick the brightest talent the country has to offer.

When it comes to talent, the advertising industry is not in short supply, with figures showing that more than 60% of the workforce is educated to degree level or higher.

Advertising and marketing graduates are ideally positioned to take their place within rapidly expanding areas of the creative industries. They often find work as creative directors, copywriters, digital designers, strategists, brand communicators, creative technologists and social media content creators.
