BSc (Hons) Business Management with International Year One

Alongside English for Academic purposes modules, you will be introduced to modules in operations and management, as well as business finance, to enable you to gain a deeper understanding of the principles of business practice at an introductory level.   

You will learn how strategy is incorporated at management level, to support the business and functional operations of an organisation.

In year 2, you will demonstrate an ability to identify, critically evaluate and apply theories of global business practice. You will also have the opportunity to complete a work-based learning opportunity or professional project.

• Work-Based Learning. 

In your final year, you’ll apply your knowledge from years 1 and 2 to solve real-world business problems, leading to an expert final project.

You’ll develop both hard and soft skills in a collaborative environment, working with students from other courses. This approach will deepen your understanding of business functions and help you build a network for sustainable growth after graduation.

At Ravensbourne we accept a wide range of international qualifications for entry onto our courses, whilst also considering the context in which they were achieved. For this course, we would usually require a GCSE Grade 4 or above in English in addition to any of the below: 

• Two A Levels at grade CC or above
• BTEC Extended Diploma at grade MPP
• UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma
• T Level (pass or above)
• Access to Higher Education Diploma
• International Baccalaureate at grade 24 or above
• Other/Mixed qualifications equivalent to 64 UCAS Tariff points 

In addition to the above, applicants must meet the following English language requirements:

• IELTS 5.5 overall, with no component below 5.5
• Or an equivalent English language qualification as listed on our website

This course is specifically intended for overseas students who are not native English speakers. Home students and native English speakers are welcome to apply for BSc (Hons) Business Management as an alternative.
