The online application form can be completed in stages and you can login or logout at any time. The form automatically saves as you enter your information and it is simple to move backwards and forwards within the form at any time prior to submission. Help is available at each stage to guide you through the form.

Before final submission, you can preview your application and can then choose to refine or submit the form.

Once you have submitted your application, you will see in the 'My Applications' area, that the status of your application will be "submitted" and it will also show the date of submission. You will receive an acknowledgment email the next day.

The selection panel will assess all applicants against the requirements of the job description and person specification and then notify HR of their decision.

HR will then contact the applicants as appropriate.

We are unable to accept speculative applications and CV by email. Please submit your application via our job board to ensure we operate a fair and open anonymous selection process to mitigate against bias.

An email confirmation will be sent to you after the receipt of your application - usually the next day.

We cannot accept applications after a post has closed.

Please apply as early as possible, occasionally we close roles ahead of the planned closing date if a high volume of applications is received. 

We will provide at least 48 hours’ notice if we plan to make any changes to the date.

The time that we will take to respond to candidates will vary from post to post depending on how many applications we receive. However, all candidates will be notified as to the outcome of their application within a few weeks of the closing date.

In exceptional circumstances where the shortlisting process takes longer than expected, candidates will be contacted.

Due to volumes of applications, we cannot provide feedback following application.

We currently use Microsoft Teams for virtual interviews.

Your referees must be able to assess your suitability for the post.  

One of the nominated referees should be a manager from your current or most recent employment.

If you have just completed full-time education, your course tutor, or other academic staff member familiar with your work, could be selected. 

Family members or personal friends should not be named as referees.
