If you choose to add an Integrated Foundation Year on this course, you will start with an introduction to the fundamental principles of studying and working in the creative industries. Your foundation year gives you the time, space and support to explore your strengths, build confidence and prepare for the demands of project-based, industry-focused learning.

Year 1

Build a robust grounding in management principles, operational strategy and business finance. Learn how strategic decision-making drives organisations while mastering core skills in sales practice, digital literacy and personal effectiveness.

Year 2

Critically evaluate global business models, sustainable supply chains and modern leadership ethics. Apply your skills directly to the commercial sector through a professional project or industry work placement.

Year 3

Solve complex business challenges through high-level consultancy and independent research. Build an entrepreneurial network, explore digital intelligence and deliver a professional-grade final project or dissertation tailored to your career goals.

• Global and Creative Strategy in Practice
• Consultancy Project
• Leadership and Digital Intelligence
• Individual Project: Dissertation, Industry or Work-Based Research Project

A variety of learning and teaching methods are employed in this course. 

These include but are not limited to;

Briefings, lectures, project work, seminars, workshops, collaborative work, online activity, individual tutorials, group presentations, critiques, external visits, technical support and self-directed independent study.

The course is assessed entirely by coursework and quizzes.

Books and study resources: £150–£300 | Visits - budget for travel only

Note on laptop costs: Students are recommended to have access to a personal laptop. If a new purchase is needed, budget approximately £400–£1,200 as a one-off cost, ideally timed for the start of Year 1. Studio computers are available on campus for students who do not yet have their own device

These transport links offer an easy route to some of London's major business hubs, perfect for reaching possible placements or networking events with employers in the worlds of business or technology.  

At Ravensbourne we accept a wide range of qualifications for entry onto our courses, whilst also considering the context in which they were achieved. For this course, we would usually require a GCSE Grade 4 or above in English in addition to any of the below;

• Three A Levels at grade BBC or above
• BTEC Extended Diploma at grade DMM
• UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma
• T Level (pass or above)
• Access to Higher Education Diploma
• International Baccalaureate at grade 25 or above
• Other/Mixed qualifications equivalent to 112 UCAS Tariff points

There are no portfolio requirements for this course.
