Entry requirements
Entry requirements for each of our courses can be found on our dedicated course pages. In addition, international learners will need to demonstrate a certain level of proficiency in the English language.
You can find country-specific entry requirements for our undergraduate and postgraduate courses by clicking below.
Applications are considered on an individual basis and other qualifications/work experience may be taken into consideration where an applicant does not meet the general qualifications requirements of selected course.
English requirements
All courses at Ravensbourne University London are taught in English. Therefore, all applicants must demonstrate a minimum standard of English language proficiency to be eligible for admission. International students need to submit an English language test as proof of their proficiency, unless exempted by Ravensbourne or meeting UKVI exemptions from English language testing requirements.
Please note: We will always consider the whole application and accompanying documents to assess an applicant’s level of competence in English language. We therefore reserve the right to ask for additional evidence of English language if we have concerns about an applicant’s level of proficiency.
Applicants who require a visa to study in the UK
Ravensbourne University London holds a sponsor licence issued by the Home Office, permitting us to recruit students who require a visa to study in the UK. In addition to the University’s own English language requirements, the UK Home Office sets its own minimum standards for applicants requiring a visa to study in the UK.
You may take any of the tests or qualifications listed on this webpage. Unless stated otherwise, tests and qualifications used to meet English language requirements must be dated within 2 years of the start date of your chosen course.
