Honouring Pride Month
From specialist books to collections, there is a wealth of information available to you - in print, online and multimedia format. We will ensure you have all the skills to navigate the library's resources independently and find what you need
As soon as you join the Ravensbourne student/staff community, you will be registered with a library account which allows you to borrow books, DVDs and access material samples and online resources.
The Ravensbourne library holds a selection of Visionaire issues - a highly collectible, multi-format, luxury art and fashion publication.
These are more than ordinary books, but commissioned, collaborative design projects and works of art. The library also has a small collection of zines and artist books.
Special collections and student work are on display in the cabinets as enquiry reference. You can ask a librarian if you wish to see the special collections.
Search the collection using the library catalogue.
All online library resources are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and so you don’t need to be on campus to make the most of the collection. All the information about accessing these resources can be found on the library intranet homepage.

The Library is committed to actively preserving and celebrating Ravensbourne’s history by collecting books, photos and other items featuring our current and former students, staff and alumni. This includes a photo archive of thousands of images from previous years.
We’re always looking to expand this and happy to accept recommendations and donations. If you have any photos then please let us know, by contacting us at [email protected].
We have introduced a click and collect service for books held in the Library. Books can be requested via email and collected from the ground floor of the building.
Please search the library catalogue for the books you wish to collect and then email the library to request these and arrange a collection time.
Those who are unable to work from home in line with Government guidance can book a desk for studying
With advance notice, we can also provide reference access to books and materials from the library to use while you are in the building.
There are limited spaces available and a study space must be booked. Books must be requested at least one working day in advance of the day you require it. Please do not travel to the building without confirmation of your booking.
Click here to book a desk or email if you would like any help with this.
