- Three A Levels at grade CCC or above
- BTEC Extended Diploma at grade MMM
- UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma

Interview and portfolio requirements
Please note that a portfolio is not usually a requirement for this course. However, we may still ask you for one if you have not met the entry requirements for the course or if your educational background is in a very different subject.
If we do ask you for a portfolio, you can provide the following:
- Showreels - Please bear in mind that interviewers are tasked with reviewing hundreds of student’s showreels. For this reason, we suggest front-loading your work and putting the highlights in the first minute of the film. Showreels presented by candidates should be 3-4 minutes long.
- We would also welcome any other creative portfolio work, such as scripts photography, artwork, storyboards, or any other relevant materials, particularly if you don’t have any films at this stage.
- If possible, films featured in the showreel should be made accessible in full online.

I was blown away at the calibre of the editing and post-production facilities. More importantly, I was impressed with what the course offered, what it covered, and how it gave you a taste of everything including sound and audio, editing and post, scriptwriting, production management, cinematography and more.”
