Editing is where film and television stories come together. This post-production course in London places editing at its core while developing a broad skillset across visual effects, colour grading, audio post-production, screen graphics, shoot and edit workflows, media management and broadcast technology.

Taught by industry professionals and guest speakers, learning includes hands-on workshops, lectures, masterclasses and problem-based projects. Previous guest speakers include Mick Audsley (Murder on the Orient Express), Paul Machliss (Baby Driver), Lisa Gunning (7 Psychopaths) and Walter Murch (The Godfather).

The course has strong industry links with Avid, Adobe, Apple, Blackmagic Design, Jigsaw24, post houses and production companies. Students work with professionally shot rushes across drama, factual, promos and news, take on live commissions and collaborate across courses.

Based at Ravensbourne on the Greenwich Peninsula, close to one of the world’s largest post-production hubs, the course offers excellent access to placements and employment. Graduates have gone on to work with BBC, ITV and Disney, with credits including Jurassic World, My Lady Jane, Black Bag and Drive to Survive.
