On our MA Screenwriting course in London, you’ll explore both the craft and industry of storytelling in a fast-evolving global market. You’ll learn to shape compelling characters, build emotionally resonant narratives, and communicate your ideas with clarity and confidence.
Through hands-on projects, you’ll tackle real development challenges, analyse story structure, and respond to trends in film and high-end TV—creating work that is both creatively ambitious and production-ready.
Blending classical theory—from Aristotle to John Yorke—with contemporary practice, the course embraces adaptation, collaboration, and emerging forms. You’ll also experiment with AI-assisted development, table reads, previsualisation, and editing - understanding the screenplay as a blueprint for production.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the course is delivered one evening a week in London and one evening online—minimising time on campus while maximising time for focused writing. This model is ideal for working professionals.
