Ravensbourne secures CMI collaboration
Ravensbourne University London is proud to announce a new and significant partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), strengthening our commitment to delivering industry‑aligned, professionally recognised postgraduate education. This collaboration marks an important milestone for the university, with several of our postgraduate courses now formally accredited with the highly respected CMI Level 7 dual award.
The accreditation applies to six of our postgraduate programmes:
- MSc Strategic Marketing and Analytics
- MSc Project Management
- MSc Events Management
- MSc Engineering Management
- MBA, and MSc International Finance
Students enrolled on these courses will now graduate not only with a Ravensbourne master’s degree, but also with a CMI Level 7 qualification - a powerful combination that enhances employability, leadership capability, and professional credibility.
This dual award also provides a pathway for students to work towards Chartered Manager status, the highest professional recognition in the field of management. Achieving Chartered status is widely valued by employers across sectors, making this partnership a major investment in the future success of our students. .
As an Approved Centre, Ravensbourne will have access to a suite of CMI resources designed to enrich the student experience, which include a personalised web portal to handle your enrolment and track how you’re doing, access to marketing toolkits, induction support, and a dedicated customer service team. Staff membership of CMI is also included, ensuring our academic teams remain closely connected to current industry practice.
The university will celebrate the launch of this partnership with a dedicated event on February 12, delivered in collaboration with the Ravensbourne events team and representatives from CMI who will be in attendance.
Business graduates operating in a global market need to stand out. The partnership we have formed with CMI not only adds additional credibility to their award given it is a dual award but also means that they operate within a professional network throughout their studies. We built our postgraduate programmes to equip students to be able to lead with confidence. Our course teams are adamant in their commitment to building future‑ready graduates who don’t just enter industry — they shape it.
