2025: Year in Review

Publication date:

2025 has been another brilliant year for Ravensbourne!

As we come to the end of 2025, Ravensbourne University London is proud to reflect on another year of creativity, innovation, and success. From inspiring student showcases to prestigious industry recognition, this year has been defined by the brilliance of our community. Our students, staff, and industry partners have continued to be bold and push boundaries, proving why Ravensbourne remains at the forefront of creative, technology and business education.

Celebrating Student Excellence

This year marked a milestone as hundreds of graduates crossed the stage at the Barbican Centre across three very special graduate ceremonies. There are not only a celebration of their academic achievements but also a testament to their resilience and creativity. Honorary awards were presented to industry leaders, including Karen Blackett CBE, Noeline Sanders, Jay Osgerby and Thomas Heatherwick to name a few; underscoring Ravensbourne’s deep ties to the professional world.

The 2025 Student Showcase

Our annual Student Showcase  transformed the Ravensbourne building into a vibrant exhibition space. With nearly 1000 guests in attendance, the event highlighted the extraordinary talent of our graduating cohort. From architectural projects critiqued by RIBA, to a fashion show that rivalled industry standards, the Showcase reaffirmed why Ravensbourne graduates are so sought after by employers.

Industry Recognition and Partnerships

2025 saw Ravensbourne students and alumni win awards across several disciplines, from digital film and animation to fashion promotion. These achievements were amplified by collaborations with leading industry partners, ensuring our graduates leave with both academic excellence and real-world experience. Recent projects with organisations such as Tate, one of the the UK’s most influential art institutions, where students contributed to immersive digital installations, and Kopparberg, the global drinks brand known for championing bold creative campaigns, demonstrate the calibre of opportunities our student community engages with.  We’re equally proud to showcase our ongoing commitment to sustainability, strengthened through partnerships with initiatives such as PRME, a United Nations-supported framework for responsible management education, and UKIE, the UK’s leading trade body for the video games and interactive entertainment industry. These collaborations continue to shape a more future-focused creative sector.

As our Class of 2025 embarks on their professional journeys, we are excited to see them transform industries and communities worldwide. Their creativity, resilience, and ambition embody the Ravensbourne spirit, and we look forward witnessing their success during 2026 and beyond

As we reach the end  of the year, I wanted to take the opportunity to reflect on the remarkable achievements of our students, colleagues and industry partners over the course of 2025. From groundbreaking collaborations with major industry names including L'Oréal, and  DixonBaxi to hosting a record-breaking student-led broadcast - On Air,  celebrating the next generation of talent at our three graduation ceremonies... This year has been full of inspiring moments.

I am excited to seeing what great things we can accomplish together in 2026.

- Jon Kingsbury, Vice Chancellor, Ravensbourne University of London
