Ravensbourne University London collaborates with L’Oréal and CEDEP to explore AI-driven creativity and future retail trends

Publication date:

Ravensbourne University London students and staff recently travelled to Paris to collaborate with global beauty leader L’Oréal and CEDEP (The European Centre for Executive Development) on a series of forward-thinking workshops exploring AI and creativity.

The immersive sessions invited Ravensbourne’s creative talent to contribute their insights to real-world scenario planning alongside senior L’Oréal executives. Together, they examined emerging trends in technology, authenticity and consumer behaviour – using AI as both a creative partner and a strategic lens for innovation.

L'Oreal quote

This is the first time L’Oréal has partnered with Ravensbourne. The workshops revealed how artificial intelligence is increasingly viewed as part of the environment rather than a standalone tool, shaping how younger generations learn and make decisions. Participants also identified authenticity as a defining value for Gen Z audiences, who expect transparency and consistency from the brands they engage with.
