The MArch Architecture course is designed to equip emerging architects with the advanced skills required to navigate and shape complex, contemporary practice utilising leadership skills and emerging technologies. It merges rigorous design exploration and resolution, critical research, and professional principles, to prepare graduates to address the most pressing social, environmental, and technological challenges facing the built environment.

The agendas explored across modules reflect current and nascent priorities within the built environment and a global discourse. This architectural design course is delivered with at least 50% of modules focused on design.
The MArch Architecture cultivates a collaborative and interdisciplinary learning environment, drawing on academic expertise and industry engagement to nurture reflective, responsible, and innovative emerging professionals. It blends conceptual thinking with technical resolution and business acumen. Entry requirements
UK students
Students are expected to possess one of the following to enrol on the MArch Architecture.
- A lower second-class honours degree in architecture
- Or an equivalent EU / international qualification
- Or a professional qualification recognised as equivalent to an honours degree
- And normally at least one year of relevant professional experience.
If you are applying directly from an undergraduate degree course without experience or professional practice, you must be able to demonstrate a strong portfolio of academic work and professional acumen, that can be mapped to professional body competences.

To be eligible for this course, you will need to be a competent speaker and writer of English. If you require a Student Visa you need to provide us with an IELTS or equivalent English language qualification, which demonstrates a minimum of 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each sub test) or CEFR Level B2 in each component.
