Anna Byers BEd(Hons), MBA

Biography

Anna holds a BEd(Hons) and an MBA with organisational storytelling for developing business strategy as her main focus. 

As a dance practitioner, she has worked within the education sector establishing dance programmes for all ages. Working across a range of curriculum areas in the further education sector she wrote and accredited a range of programmes to acknowledge participation and engagement for non-traditional learners. 

During the formative stage of the National Apprenticeship Service, Anna was a member of the team working to generate engagement from employers. During this time she worked with trailblazer groups to initiate the development of apprenticeship standards to reflect the needs of the employers in the public sector including central government, theatre and the arts, and broadcasting. 

Prior to joining Ravensbourne University, Anna was working as a freelance consultant for a number of different clients, advising on the employment of apprenticeships, setting up and establishing employers as training providers, and successfully steering new providers through initial OfSTED monitoring visits.
