About The Valentine

The Valentine is located less than two minutes’ walk from the tube station in Gants Hill, getting you to Ravensbourne in under 30 minutes. With dedicated private and group study rooms, a well-equipped gym, TV and movie room, multi-games station, and ample outdoor space, The Valentine has everything you need to make the most of your time as a student in London.

Choose from your own private studio, or a room in a shared apartment. All rooms at The Valentine have private bathrooms and top-spec appliances. The Valentine is managed by CRM Students one of the UK’s leading and largest independent student accommodation providers whose aim is to enable you to be happy; living in a great location with exceptional facilities in an environment where you feel safe and well-cared for.

How to apply

1) Join the waiting list

  • Email [email protected] or call 020 4504 0575.
  • Clearly state that you are a Ravensbourne University student. This helps CRM Students group Ravensbourne students together.

2) Check if you qualify for a discounted room

You may be eligible if:

  • Your household income is £25,000 or under, and
  • You have applied for the maximum maintenance loan from Student Finance England.

If eligible:

  • You can reserve an affordable-rate room at £194 per week.
  • You will later need to provide evidence of your maintenance loan allocation from Student Finance England.

If your household income is over £25,000:

  • You can still book a room at The Valentine at the standard rate.

4) Provide evidence (for students booking at discounted rate)

CRM Students will contact you (from May 2026) to request:

  • Evidence of your maintenance loan allocation from Student Finance England. This is used to confirm your eligibility for the affordable room rate.

If you do not meet the requirements:

  • You will be offered a standard-rate room, subject to availability.

Cancellation policy

If you choose to cancel your booking with CRM Students, you have 14 calendar days after receiving the original Accommodation Offer to do so to get a full refund of the Holding Deposit paid. If you have made your booking less than 14 days before your scheduled check-in date, you may cancel your booking until the earlier of (a) 14 days after receipt of the Accommodation Offer email and (b) the date you actually check-in. You may cancel your booking by sending an email to [email protected] . CRM Students will refund your Holding Deposit within 7 calendar days of cancellation. If you cancel your booking after the 14 calendar day cool off period, you will not get your Holding Deposit returned to you.
