Ravensbourne University London Fashion students unveil their final collections to leading global brands

A new wave of talent from Ravensbourne University London showcased their final-year work to leading names in the fashion industry on Tuesday 10 June — hoping to make lasting impressions and take the first step in their professional careers.
Held once again at the stylish 180 Studios in central London, the annual industry breakfast brought together students, staff, and some of the world’s most recognisable fashion brands for a morning of networking and celebration.

These events are essential as industry engagement is a core part of what we promote at Ravensbourne. Each year of the course is designed to build towards a professional exit into the industry. This event, in particular, offers students a valuable opportunity to confidently present and discuss their work while gaining insight and feedback from leading industry brands.”
This year’s guests included representatives from WGSN, Ralph Lauren, Deckers Brands (UGG), Puig, Urbn, BDA London, Anthropologie, and Shrimps, who were invited to view student work spanning across three of Ravensbourne’s flagship courses: BA (Hons) Fashion, BA (Hons) Fashion Buying and Brand Management, and BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion and Communication.
As well as showcasing their creativity, the event gave students the chance to forge valuable contacts with recruiters and professionals working in the exact industries they hope to enter after graduation. Staff from Ravensbourne were able to strengthen their long-standing partnerships and start conversations around future collaborations.
Mandi quote
It’s vital that our students have the opportunity to network with industry. We wanted to create an event where it was convenient for industry to drop in and our students felt comfortable. It's a chance to showcase all the Fashion courses' work, at Ravensbourne we like to be innovative and do things that are a bit different, to push the boundaries. I think all this cohort will be successful, whichever direction they choose.”
