Concept and creative process
Titles for 'Wednesday Magazine' a weekly magazine format programme. My concept featured animating choreographed dots and a live action dove which I filmed at the BBC's Ealing Studios. I took the film negative and printed 12 x 9 frames of each dove sequence, so that I could place it where I wanted in the frame. I then re-filmed the prints of the dove in motion one frame at a time with the rostrum camera, thereby re-creating the original live action, and combined them with the animated dots.
