Concept and creative process
Opening titles for ‘Watch’, the Schools series for 5-7-year-olds, with stories, games and fun. The titles were hand-animated and shot partly in reverse under the rostrum camera to form the logo from balls of coloured modelling material. All of the letters apart from the W rolled up again into balls and animated off-screen. The W had two footprints cut out of it and again the left-over material balled up and left the stage. The footprints were then joined by similar ones that jumped on progressively to make an introduction to the topic that followed – ‘Feet’.
