The Travel Show (1999)

Concept and creative process

Titles for a live magazine programme with travel tips, weather news and bargain holidays. For this title sequence the designers took inspiration from David Hockney’s 1980s Polaroid and video montages as a technique to join together holiday destination images from around the world in a seamless, continuously panning motion across a panorama of stills and live action footage. The material was composited and panned in post-production in a complex digital edit.
