‘Learning to Fail' was a two-part examination of attitudes to education and learning in the UK at the beginning of the 1990s. A chalky texture linked all of the images used in the title sequence firmly to the classroom, both live action production footage and old illustrations of school life in earlier times. The images in the title sequence were composited together with the chalk texture in digital post-production.
