Concept and creative process
This series was transmitted on a Sunday afternoon. It was a light hearted approach to many serious social problems with an emphasis to entertain rather than lecture. The main presenter, Nicky Martyn, had to be shown in the opening sequence. An animation approach was decided upon, based on the written music and lyrics. A storyboard was drawn, approved and the Ian Eames Studio was chosen to create the opening and closing sequences.
