Concept and creative process
The pernicious intrigue of the plot of the acclaimed drama series 'I Claudius' was symbolised by a serpent and its contortions as it moved across a Roman mosaic floor which contained the credits as part of the overall design. The action was captured in a live action studio shoot with a very obliging snake.
