Concept and creative process
Titles for a twice-weekly chat show with audience participation, hosted by Esther Rantzen. The sequence was designed and created in a multi-layered digital edit by Pat Gavin. A coloured multiscreen grid animated continuously, changing in size and shape as it revolved through 90 degrees. It displayed images of the host and guests from previous series, with the show logotype ‘Esther’ running obliquely over them in big close-up as another layer. The logo finally resolved over a full screen image of Esther followed by a dissolve through to the live studio.
