A variety of learning and teaching methods are employed in this course. 

These include but are not limited to;

Lectures, tutorials, practical lab activities, workshops, problem-based learning, collaborative projects, industry case studies and briefs, project supervision, guided and independent learning.

The course is assessed entirely by coursework.

Study hours (International Year 1 includes an additional 96 hours of English language teaching and 304 hours of independent study)

• 960 hours of face-to-face taught
• 3040 hours independent study learning

Sstudents will be required to have access to a laptop with a base specification of an Intel Core i5/AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD and 64-bit Windows 11. 

The estimated cost of a suitable laptop is approximately £500–£700. Students will also have access to the university’s dedicated computing labs, required software and institutional digital and library resources.
