Save the Student Bursary for new undergraduate students

The Save the Student Bursary is aimed at helping prospective students from low-income and disadvantaged backgrounds access the essential items they need to begin their university journey.

Save the Student are awarding £750 to six new students – a total of £4,500, jointly funded by their partners at JS Group

The funding will be administered via the JS Group's award-winning Aspire Cash service, ensuring a quick, easy and secure delivery of the funds.platform. Students will be able to use the bursary to purchase laptops, bedding, kitchenware, and other university essentials.

Eligibility
Students must be:

  • UK domiciled
  • Starting an undergraduate degree course in 25/26 academic year
  • Paying home fees of £9350
  • Have a household income of £40,000 or less
  • Have an open UK bank account, or have one by the end of August 2025.
