Securing a room
The contract is held with Sir John Cass Hall not Ravensbourne so you will need to book a room through Cass.
Important: Please be advised that you will be required to pay a refundable £500 deposit. This might be before you receive any maintenance loan payments from Student Finance England (first payment is usually received end of October) so please ensure you have enough funds.
Due to child protection a majority of student accommodation providers will not accept bookings from students who will be under the age of 18 on the first day of their course.
Sir John Cass will take Undergraduates who are under 18 at the start of their course but not Foundation students, this is due to the earlier course start date.
The exception to this rule, is McMillan who are able to take a limited number of under 18 foundation students.
Another option could be staying with a host family.
