Laura completed a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University before working on Fashion Show Production at Vauxhall Fashion Scout and securing a work placement at the Stella McCartney Press Office. It was here that she found her calling in fashion and, after relocating to the Design Studio, more specifically in Visual Merchandising.
Laura is a creative and conceptual thinker, with a keen eye for detail and clear head for project managing. Her industry expertise is in British luxury fashion, where she has spent nine years running Visual Merchandising projects and 3D campaigns, designing window schemes and branded event spaces for Mulberry.
Over the last decade, Laura has been invited to lecture sessionally on VM techniques at UCA and Ravensbourne. She enjoys inspiring students by passing on her insights into the industry, offering them a creative viewpoint on their learning, celebrating cross-disciplinary collaboration and forward thinking. She specialises in helping students to be entrepreneurial and imaginative.
Laura brings to the FBBM course an invaluable range of international contacts across VM, Marketing, Branding, Press, Buying and Merchandising, Production and Copywriting.
