James Millar is an accessory and textile designer who has most recently worked design director at Liberty London, where he spent 6 years creating and building a successful accessory-led line.
Previously, he worked freelance selling textile designs to clients including Loewe, Prada, Liberty, DVF, DKNY, and many high street stores, and prior to this, he worked as a senior designer at Jonathan Saunders.
Throughout his design career he has developed an excellent knowledge of both digital and traditional design processes.
James holds a MA in fashion design from Central St. Martins with a specialism in textiles for fashion. His passions and areas of expertise encompass in-depth research, colour, craftsmanship, pattern and decoration and inspirations draw on a wide range of influences including modern art, the history of fashion and the natural world.
