Andrew is a designer and engineer working in product development, installations and electronics, with a focus on digital manufacturing.
He has a background in medical and consumer product design and is a named inventor on patents held worldwide. He has designed products for DePuy, Procter and Gamble, Stylfile and Biomimetics Health Industries, where he was technology and research manager.
Andrew is currently a director of RARA Cooperative, an established architecture and design agency and public makerspace. With a unique approach to cross disciplinary working and unconventional company structure, RARA is a business formed from design thinking. It was one of the first public makerspaces of its kind in London, receiving press from The Independent, the Architechture Journal, Building Design and Blueprint. Recent clients include The Wellcome Collection, Google, The Southbank Centre, Hackney Council, The Architecture Foundation, The Design Museum and Tate Britain.
