Ing Stefano Mainero

Stefano has been developing his expertise in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) since the mid 1990s and expanded his knowledge by combining it with sustainability study at the beginning of the 21st century. Alongside this multi-disciplinary work, he has written journal articles, and delivered conference seminars on these issues - along with teaching and collaborating with several universities in the UK, Italy and USA.

He took on a new challenge in 2009 when he decided to move into a more entrepreneurial space by establishing a technical consultancy in London. In 2022 he replicated this experience by establishing a research and innovation consulting firm in Dublin.

In the last 20 years he has also worked for the European Commission, learning more about sustainability and circular economies - focusing on their technical, legal, and legislative aspects.

After 30 years of professional work, Stefano is dedicated to expanding his expertise and sharing it with students.
