Italian alumnus organises virtual choir

Ravensbourne alumnus, Paolo Annunziato, creatively synchronised a collection of video conferencing members from the ‘International Opera Choir’ singing together during lockdown in Italy.

He created a video featuring all the members of the choir singing the “Va Pensiero” (Chorus from the opera Nabucco by Giuseppe Verdi, 1842) remotely from their homes, with some beautiful additions and footage of Italy.

His video has gone viral throughout Italy, and has given thousands of people much needed joy during self-isolation. Thank you Paolo for creating something beautiful during such difficult times. You can view the full choir performance of ‘Va Pensiero’ here:
