Subjective Evaluation Tests of Audiovisual Quality in Virtual Reality
Currently reading: Project details
Overview
The project seeks to collect quantitative and qualitative data related to perceived audiovisual quality in short, animated virtual reality (VR) sequences. The tests will involve subjective evaluation tests (based on ITU recommendations), using different versions of animated VR sequences through a VR headset.
Different rounds of the tests will investigate different parameters of audiovisual quality in VR, ultimately building a dataset that will allow us to perform quantitative analysis on subjects that are commonly addressed through qualitative research.
