Concept and creative process
Titles for ‘World of Wildlife’, a 1980s wildlife series highlighting issues in countries around the world. The title sequence was designed as a pixellated world map projection, with a frieze of matching continents above and the programme title below. The film clips that featured in the central band were highlighted on the specific continent in the frieze above. The artwork was filmed on a rostrum camera and composited with the footage in a film optical.
