‘Words and Pictures’ was a long-running Schools series for children aged 6-7, designed to help their reading through storytelling. The title sequence was assembled and animated digitally, compositing shots of the children filmed against green screen with a background of animating shapes and lines, and keying live action animal shots into the pop-up book.
