Concept and creative process
The wildlife series ‘Wild and Dangerous’ was a chance to meet people whose work took them into contact with some of the world's deadliest animals. From an angry lion to a shark feeding-frenzy – it revealed the sharp end of the wildlife business. Extraordinary close-up footage of ferocious animal attacks, composited digitally with specially shot footage of a stuntman running for his life from a bear and being attacked by a shark, created the illusion in the opening title sequence of the wildlife cinematographer’s dangerous occupation.
