Wainwright On The Lakeland Fells (1985)

Concept and creative process

Titles for a series in which Eric Robson accompanies A. Wainwright, celebrated author of 'Guides to the Lakeland Fells', to some of his favourite places. In a sequence in which Wainwright is depicted sitting on a high ledge, working on his Guides, while a series of his own drawings of the hills and vales of the Lakeland landscape zoom up to fill a vignette, the final one bringing on Wainwright’s signature, part of the programme title. Filmed on a rostrum camera.
