Treasures in Trust (1995)

Concept and creative process

A kaleidoscope of images reflecting the diversity of the National Trust's properties and treasures - sequenced in colour to go through the seasons from Winter to Autumn - ended with the iconic acorn logo and programme title. 'Treasures In Trust' was a celebration of 100 years of the National Trust. The images for the titles were borrowed from the National Trust's archive and combined with animation of an oak tree growing. All of these elements were composited and the kaleidoscope effect created on a Quantel Henry by Mike McGee at Framestore.
