‘Public Account’ was a weekly current affairs and political discussion series, broadcast on BBC1 Scotland. The titles consisted of a grid of columns extending over the whole of the screen with a central box, used to contain programme footage, surrounded by a textured background. The columns of the central box used a variety of electronic animated wipes to change between the live action footage it contained. The whole title sequence was put together digitally on a Quantel Harry.
