Concept and creative process
Patrick Kielty presents a series of comedy, chat and music with celebrity guests. The title sequence is a whistle-stop tour of the sights of Belfast en route to the BBC Studio, interspersed with billboards announcing Patrick Kielty and his guests on the current show. The sequence was edited and animated in digital post-production with specially shot stills of buildings, cut out and manipulated in perspective, and directional traffic signs and street names, as if part of a satellite navigation system.
