Concept and creative process
The brief for the drama series 'Our Friends in the North' was to create a sequence that linked the four main characters to their locations - Newcastle and London - and show the journeys that they took as friends, from students to adults over a period of 30 years. I viewed the whole series and chose key moments of action and characters and then created a series of mattes that these shots could be dropped into and overlaid in different combinations. Compositing and postproduction was done on Quantel Henry.
