Location Britain (1977)

Concept and creative process

Titles for a geography series for schools and colleges which looked at the development of towns around the UK and why it happened in these particular locations. The title sequence  was filmed on a rostrum camera in a series of mixes on illustrations. It demonstrated the exponential growth of a typical hamlet over the course of many centuries to become a thriving residential, commercial and industrial metropolis, served by a modern transport infrastructure.
