Titles for a travel documentary series retracing memorable rail journeys. The title sequence was made from beautiful illustrations in the style of Georges Seurat with characters seeming to appear out of the steam generated by the locomotive racing through the night landscape, its passengers seen fleetingly through the lit windows. The use of the rostrum camera to add the dimension of movement to still drawings through its ability to pan and track is exemplary.
