Concept and creative process
Titles for a comedy series starring Lenny Henry as Gareth Blackstock, a flamboyant top chef at one of Britain's smartest restaurants. A nicely designed logo on the restaurant door and its use on the chef’s own-brand cookware, wine glasses, tableware and wine corks was also exposed as a percentage layer over some of the live action production footage to give the sequence a strong brand image. The titles were composited in a digital edit in a letterbox shape between background and foreground layers of steamy, smoky cooking activity.
