Top salaries for our creative graduates
When it comes to creative graduate salaries, Ravensbourne is the number one specialist university in the UK, and is in the top 10 of all institutions in England*
There is also a growing demand for the creative talents of our students from the digital, engineering and technical industries, which reflects the huge growth of the creative industries over recent years (30% between 2012 and 2016).
These results reflect the fact that at Ravensbourne University London, students are professional creatives from the day they join us. We work in close partnership with employers to foster the mindsets and skillsets that the creative industries need.
Our winning formula also ensures an extremely high post-graduation employment rate. In 2017, 96.4% of students were in work six months after graduating.

NSS Results 2018
The NSS survey results 2018 highlighted student satisfaction at 71% which we were of course disappointed with. We recognise that the outcome shows we have work to do to win more positive approval ratings from our students. As a new university we have been through a period of change which might have influenced this outcome. We take the voice of our students extremely seriously and have been working closely with them for some time to make improvements.
We know we have real work to do to improve our student satisfaction rate. The particular issues that students have commented on, which were the reasons stated for their scores on our performance, have been addressed over the past 12 months.
Looking forward, we are launching our new undergraduate curriculum this year which was revised with input from students, staff, leading academics, industry representatives and thought leaders. The Mindsets and Skillsets Manifesto was developed from the review, with five principles which underpin the curriculum and delivery of our courses.
We have some real successes to share and as a specialist creative university, our graduates are amongst the most sought-after in the creative industries, demonstrated by a graduate employment rate which is an impressive 96.4%. We also saw high student satisfaction scores across BA (Hons) Fashion: 91.6%, BA (Hons) Graphic Design: 90.7%, BA (Hons) Animation: 84.2% and BA (Hons) Design Products: 84.2%.
In 2017/2018 we continued to enjoy some outstanding student wins including another amazing degree show, Graduate Fashion Week where five of our students attracted awards and more winners from D&AD, who won prizes at the digital advertising and design organisation’s New Blood Awards. Our alumni also goes from strength to strength as evidenced by the wonderful achievement of Clare Waight Keller, designer of Meghan Markle’s wedding dress who recently visited our students.
