MSc Accounting and Finance integrates theory, technology and real-world application, helping you develop the analytical, technical and professional skills needed to excel in roles in complex financial environments across public, private and third-sector organisations.
Students will also explore international accounting practices and regulatory frameworks. Through hands-on learning like case studies and projects, students will apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Classes are held Monday to Friday, between 9.00am and 9.00pm, including some evening sessions.

ACCA exemptions
Upon successful completion of the MSc Accounting and Finance programme, you can gain exemptions from up to six ACCA papers, enabling quicker progression towards part-qualified ACCA status.
Industry software experience
The Applied Accounting for Non-Specialists module has been co-designed with Xero Accounting Software, offering you hands-on experience with industry-standard tools. You will receive free access to Xero, strengthening your digital accounting skillset and professional readiness.
Real business engagement
You will also have the chance to work on projects with organisations like Gusto Snacks and Douglas Group Technology, tackling genuine business challenges and developing consultancy-style problem-solving skills.
Experiential learning
You will also have the opportunity to go on field visits to financial landmarks in London like Mansion House and the Bank of England Museum, offering you valuable insight into financial systems, markets and policy environments.
Professional networking
The programme regularly hosts and participates in events with professional bodies including ACCA and CFA, giving you the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and strengthen your employability ahead of graduation
Entry requirements
Home
A lower second-class honours (a 2:2, or equivalent non-UK qualifications) or higher in a relevant subject (plus basic maths), or an equivalent professional qualification in a related subject. You will also need to submit a copy of your Curriculum Vitae (CV)/Resume.
If you are applying directly from an undergraduate degree course without experience or professional practice, you must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of your chosen subject area.
International
If you have international qualifications, please view our entry requirements per country. Along with your academic qualifications, you will also need to submit a copy of your Curriculum Vitae (CV)/Resume.
In order to be eligible for this course, you will need to be a competent speaker and writer of English. If you require a Student Visa you need to provide us with an IELTS or equivalent English language qualification, which demonstrates a minimum of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each sub test) or CEFR Level B2 in each component.
