Ravensbourne students connect with industry through a month of creative events
June was a month of collaboration and industry engagement at Ravensbourne University London, with students showcasing their work, building professional networks and celebrating success across a series of events around film, design, fashion and motion graphics.
Having screened graduate films in London's West End and exhibiting award-winning design work in Shoreditch, students connected directly with employers, practitioners and alumni, reflecting Ravensbourne's commitment to learning with industry and preparing graduates for careers in the business, creative and technology sectors.
Celebrating the next generation of filmmakers
One of the month's highlights saw BA (Hons) Digital Film Production students premiere their final major projects at Curzon Soho, giving graduating filmmakers the opportunity to see their work on the big screen alongside family, friends and collaborators.
The annual screenings were attended by Vice Chancellor Jon Kingsbury, Executive Deans Andy Rees and Kellie Vincent, alongside students from across Ravensbourne who had contributed to the productions.
Audience awards recognised outstanding work across three categories, with Mime receiving Best Drama, Storm winning Best Music Video and Under the Same City taking home Best Documentary.

A community that extends beyond graduation
Alongside these events, Ravensbourne welcomed graduates back to campus for the Graphic Design Alumni Party, celebrating the achievements of former students while strengthening connections between alumni and the next generation of creative talent.
Together, the month's events demonstrated Ravensbourne's commitment to providing students with opportunities that extend beyond the classroom, connecting them with industry professionals and helping them build the networks needed for successful careers in their chosen pathways.
Whether presenting films in a London cinema, exhibiting award-winning design work, networking with global brands or learning from practising creatives, Ravensbourne students experienced what it means to learn with industry.
