Dr Ata Ur-Rehman PhD

Dr Ata Ur-Rehman is a computer scientist with over 15 years of research and teaching experience in machine learning, AI, computer vision, data science, and signal processing. He holds a PhD in Machine Learning and has led impactful AI-driven projects in both academia and industry, particularly in computer vision and multimodal systems involving audio and video.

He has authored over 30 publications in top-tier journals and conferences, with applications spanning healthcare and engineering, focusing on deep learning, generative models, and real-world problem solving.

Dr Ata Ur-Rehman is currently the Course Leader for MSc Business and Data Analytics and has led the development of this course. He also played a key role in designing the new BSc Business Computing course, bringing valuable experience in course development and academic leadership.
