Upcoming ceremonies

Our graduation ceremonies will be held at the Barbican, on the dates below:

Invitation to book

If you are graduating on 26 October 2026, you will receive an email invitation by the end of August 2026 to book your tickets, gown and photography. 

If you are graduating on 8 December 2026, you will receive an email invitation by the end of September 2026 to book your tickets, gown and photography. 

The email will provide details on how to register for the ceremony and book guest tickets, photography and gowns via Ede & Ravenscroft’s graduation services. Please ensure you have your Student ID number as it will ask for this.

Deadline

Deadlines to book are as below:

If you are undecided about coming, it is better to register and withdraw later if necessary. 

Extra guest tickets and photography packages can be purchased on the day of the event at the Barbican. Any booking requests made after the deadline will not be accepted and may result in you being transferred to the next available graduation ceremony.

Eligibility

Undergraduate and postgraduate students who are eligible to attend graduation will be invited via email.

If you are expecting to successfully complete your course, and providing that you have no outstanding debts to Ravensbourne (including library fines), you will be eligible to attend your graduation ceremony. If you are uncertain about your eligibility, please email Registry.

You will collect your gown on the day of the ceremony at The Barbican. 

For this, you will need to present the booking reference number to the gowning staff from Ede & Ravenscroft. 

The gown collection opens two hours prior to the ceremony to allow time to take photos.  

Professional photography by Ede & Ravenscroft is available on the day at the Barbican. 

We highly recommend that you book and pay for your photography in advance to reduce wait times, this will include a £7 delivery fee for pictures to be sent to your chosen address. 

If for whatever reason you did not have the chance to take your graduation photographs before the ceremony, you can get them done after, but there may be a larger queue.

After the event

After the event (24 - 48 hours after) you will be sent a link to the photography ordering portal from Ede & Ravenscroft. 

There you can review photos and select the image for each product you have ordered. If you have not received an email with a link within 72 hours of your event taking place, please fill out this contact form.

Award presentation photography

Ede & Ravenscroft are also now offering award presentation photography. They will photograph each graduate as they are presented on stage. These can be purchased on the day, at the graduation venue. The prices are as follow:

• Photo only - £10
• Photo in a mount - £20
• If you purchase the photo via the website after the event, the photo will cost £5 plus £7 of postage.

This photograph is uploaded to Ede & Ravenscroft's website, usually within 7-10 working days.

Once ordered, photography products will be delivered within six weeks after the ceremony at which they were taken or four weeks after they were ordered, whichever is the later.

We’ve partnered with MyGraduationClip to offer our graduating students the ability to purchase a personalised video highlighting your special graduation moment center stage. 

It will be sent directly to your email address shortly after the ceremony so you can share it with your family and friends. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate your successes and achievements!
