Progressing at Ravensbourne

Throughout the year we’ll be hosting a number of events, information sessions and drop-ins for those interested in internal progression at Ravensbourne. We also encourage you to ask your further education tutors any questions you might have. There will be opportunities throughout the year to meet your UG course team, as well as other students.

Your further education tutors will tell you all about the options available, and there will be workshops and taster lectures with the undergraduate courses to help you decide.

We encourage you to explore the course options; you can find a lot of information on the Ravensbourne undergraduate course pages. You could also attend one of our open days for more course information, or speak to the student recruitment team to arrange a face to face conversation about your options.

We understand studying can be a huge cost in the current economic climate. At Ravensbourne we are aware that lack of disposable income can make academic life harder. We want to remind you that we are pleased to offer a £500 internal progression award to students who progress onto any one of our undergraduate courses.

Eligibility

This award is available to all home fee paying undergraduate students who have progressed directly from a Foundation Diploma or Access to HE Course at Ravensbourne in the previous academic year.

How to apply

Qualifying students are not required to apply for this award. Payment will automatically be arranged following confirmation of attendance in Semester 2 at the start of February in the first year of an undergraduate course.

If you would like to stay at Ravensbourne, we recommend that you complete our direct application form by 24 November 2023.  

Providing you complete and pass your FE course, you can progress onto a Ravensbourne undergraduate course of your choice.

To complete your application process, we will gather your predicted grade and reference from your FE course tutor.

If you are considering other universities as alternative study options, you will need to complete a UCAS application. Don’t forget to put Ravensbourne as one of your choices!

Our admissions team will be in touch to confirm we’ve received your application, and will issue you with your conditional offer based upon completion of your course and receiving a positive reference from your course team.

Please let our Admissions team know if you have changed your mind, or you would like to change the course you are applying for. One of the team will liaise with you to make appropriate changes to your application and let you know if there's anything else we require from you. 

Please also let your FE tutor know if you are making any changes to your application, to keep them updated.

We will be hosting some information and drop-in sessions about things like student finance, accommodation and support services throughout the Spring and Summer terms. We'll let you know the details of these.
