Hosted at Ravensbourne University London, this dynamic two-day festival on 26–27th June 2025 brings together students, educators, and industry leaders to amplify underrepresented voices and spark new creative collaborations.

Mo:De is a play on Motion Design, incorporating “:” to signify industry and education spheres coming together. As creatives we have many modes of curiosity, perspectives and creative expressions.

Learn Cavalry

What to expect?

This workshop is an introduction to the new professional-level motion design and animation application Cavalry, which is used by some of the world’s leading design studios including Pentagram, Buck, AKQA, Studio Dumbar and corporations such as Nike, Ikea, Apple and Google.

Discover how Cavalry opens up new creative possibilities, combining modern design and animation features with easy-to-use data and automation solutions.

What to bring?

Bring a laptop with Cavalry installed for the chance to follow along.


Learn Touch Designer

Savannah Wells-Weigand will guide you through a beginner friendly workshop using Touch Designer.

Savannah graduated from Ravensbourne University London, last year and has worked with Fluent Studio as a freelancer and is currently a Junior Motion Designer at Copperworks Studio.

We will collect the work to exhibit at the event each evening.

What to bring?

Bring a laptop with Touch Designer Non Commercial installed for the chance to follow along.
